The Actor’s Waiting Room
Grace has had it rough. She’s spent thousands on training and years in customer service. Like most actors her life is a perpetual cycle of waiting. Join Grace as she tries to uncover the mysteries of the industry and why she isn’t famous yet. Some may call this investigative journalism, others may call it a waste of breath. But who can blame her, she’s just trying to pass the time, while she sits in the waiting room.
The Actor’s Waiting Room
S3. Ep 13. OVERSHARE with Eleanor Hill
Ever wondered how you create a show? How a creative writes their first draft to performing it on a stage? Well my guest this week has done just that.
Eleanor Hill, the writer and performer of 'OVERSHARE' has come to speak to me about her writing process, selling tickets and the dreaded Arts Council England Funding application.
OVERSHARE is a semi autobiographical, tech heavy tragicomedy about mental health, heartbreak and trauma through the lens of social media. It is going to be running at The Greenwich Theatre from 6th - 25th May here in London.
